For this film I decided to stretch my abilities and build Zoey in Toonboom Harmony. Everything but her hair was built in Harmony.
Layout:
Believe it or not, layout has never been my strong suit, but I love the added dimension it can bring to storytelling.

In these next drawings I really broke down the bedroom and bathroom into its essential pieces that were needed for the film - a bed, a bathroom counter, and a tub. For this film I decided to play to my strengths which was graphic shapes and high contrast colours.

I had a lot of fun playing with colour and shape. Simplicity is key for me when it comes to creating a layout.
